Federal Employee Discount Details
If you are a Federal employee or the spouse or eligible dependent of a Federal employee, you may qualify for a discount of up to 25 percent on out-of-state tuition for most programs or a 5 percent tuition discount on specialty graduate programs at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ. In addition, you may be eligible to have the application fee waived once you apply.

- You are a Federal employee, spouse, or eligible dependent.
- You pay out-of-state tuition.

The tuition for undergraduate and standard graduate programs for students who meet the criteria for Maryland residency will be the applicable in-state rate. As an in-state student, you are already receiving the lowest possible rate offered by the state of Maryland.
Because the tuition rate for graduate specialty programs does not differ based on residency, Maryland residents who are enrolled in specialty graduate programs may be eligible for a 5 percent Federal employee tuition discount.
