Prince George’s students move closer to accelerated bachelor’s degrees
The 3D Scholars Transition Day welcomed rising 11th and 12th graders for a day of preparation and celebration as they advance through an accelerated pathway to a college degree. Part of an innovative partnership between Prince George’s County Public Schools, Prince George’s Community College, and Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ, 3D Scholars can earn college credit while still in high school, transition seamlessly to a four-year degree program, and graduate—ahead of their peers—while incurring little if any debt. The annual Transition Day event offers these learners hands-on guidance on dual enrollment, college readiness requirements, and key success skills they will need as they pursue an associate degree at PGCC and continue their studies at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ.Â
Held on April 24, 2026, Transition Day reflected the strength of a partnership built on shared commitment to accessible, affordable education in Prince George’s County, Maryland, setting learners up for meaningful careers and continued success beyond the classroom.
