Access to food is access to education—and for Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ learners, fulfillment of basic needs remains essential to degree completion. This October, Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ joined higher education leaders across the region at the 2025 Regional College Hunger Conference, advancing strategies to eliminate food insecurity as a barrier to student success.

Representing Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ, Susanna Driver, Assistant Vice President of Student Support, Engagement, and Belonging, spoke on a panel highlighting the university’s approach to closing the basic needs gap. From emergency aid to early resource connection, Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ continues to build multidimensional support systems that meet students wherever they are in the world.
